NETWORK ENGINEERS

Network Engineer I

Infylogy Corp has multiple openings for the position of Network Engineer I (Ref# NEI18BS).

Work Location: Richardson, TX and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. Some positions may allow telecommuting

Job Duties: Under direct supervision, install, maintain, administer, troubleshoot and support computer networks and related environments including hardware, systems software, servers, and/or configurations. Gather data pertaining to customer needs and analyze the information to identify and evaluate system and network requirements. Assist in network analysis, planning, and support between network and data communications hardware and software. Monitor network performance. Confer with network users about solutions to existing system problems. Assist in the implementation of network security measures to protect data, software, and/or hardware. Perform routine network procedures and maintain documents. Maintain logs related to network functions, as well as maintenance and repair records. Analyze equipment performance records to determine the need for repair or replacement. Provide technical support.

Requirements: This position requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Technology, Information Systems, or a related field. Plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or 2 years in a related occupation including Network Administrator, Systems Administrator, Systems Engineer, or related experience. Will accept 3 years of post-secondary education in any field of study plus 3 years of related experience in lieu of the required education and experience. Will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience as per the requirements cited herein. 40hrs/week.

Work Location: Richardson, TX and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. Some positions may allow telecommuting.

Job Duties: Under direct supervision, design, develop, implement, test, maintain, and support business and computer applications software or specialized utility programs for client projects. Assist in all phases of the software development life-cycle (SDLC) following existing development processes. Support other software developers to gather and analyze user and business requirements, document specifications, and develop software solutions to meet client needs and data. Implement feedback received from more senior developers. Create appropriate software documentation and reports. Assist in problem solving and technical support by studying software solutions. Gain knowledge in development methodologies, software design patterns, and software engineering best practices for the application of development domain areas and specific technologies and tool sets. Receive guidance and mentorship from senior developers to enhance individual skills and performance. Participate in continuous learning activities.

Work Location: Richardson, TX and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. Some positions may allow telecommuting.

Job Duties: As part of a team, design, develop, implement, test, maintain, and support business and computer applications software or specialized utility programs, and enhancements of existing systems for client projects. Involved in all phases of the software development life-cycle (SDLC). Collaborate with other software developers to gather and analyze user and business requirements, document specifications, and develop software solutions to meet client needs and data. Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility within time and cost constraints. Support and troubleshoot software as required, including testing / quality assurance, optimizing performance, resolving issues, and providing solutions. Participate in design and code reviews, and implement feedback received from senior developers. Demonstrate knowledge in development methodologies, software design patterns, and software engineering best practices for the application of development domain areas and specific technologies and tool sets.

Requirements:This position requires a Master’s degree or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Technology, Information Systems, or a related field. Plus 6 months of experience in the job offered or 6 months in a related occupation including Software Engineer, Programmer Analyst, Systems Analyst, or related experience. 40hrs/week.
